AUTISM HOUR
We propose to organize AUTISM HOUR on 2nd Saturday of every month with INTERACTIVE Audio Webinars for one hour EVERY , with the first one hosted on Jan 12th 2013, from 8.30 PM Indian Standard Time to 9.30 PM Indian Standard Time, corresponding to morning in USA and afternoon in UK. The proceedings were recorded and will be telecast again.

The discussions centered arround the medical evidence that showed that Autism Spectrum Disorders constitute a wide range of biochemical, immunological, infective and brain / neuro-transmitter function / nerve growth factor abnormalities, that in summation lead to the development of regression, psycho-social and communicative disabilities we call ASD. Modern medicine has come up with many remedies for the pathologies caused, based on specific evidence-gathering tests
The next Autism Hour will be held on the 2nd Saturday of Februaryb on 9th, at the same time.
Along with a well known International authority speaking on a new specific topic (to be announced soon), our other experts from India will be Dr Arun Mukherjee (Clinician), Dr Deepak Gupta (Child Psychatrist) , Dr Praveen Saxena (Toxicologist) and Manisha Lad (Nutritionist and parent of ASD child)

AUTISM HOUR must be a collaborative effort between the specialists and the parents, to derrive the best opinion to help our Special Need Junior Citizens. We therefore thank the 50+ attendees of the first session on 12/01/2013, and seek their feedback on how we could improve ourselves to give the best we can and satisfy the hunger for relevant evidence based information that parents so desperastely seek.
